Moremi Wildlife Reserve
The Moremi Wildlife Reserve occupies about 1,800 square kilometers of northwestern Botswana land. Open throughout the year, the park provides accommodation at three public camping sites at South Gate, North Gate and Third Bridge. Moreover, there are game viewing roads that offer a chance to view animals like the elephant, lion, leopard, buffalo, lechwe, reedbuck, hippo, wild dog and antelopes. Visitors must take special precautions against malaria and bilharzia and protect themselves against crocodiles and other dangerous animals.
